Contaminated Land Remediation

As part of a phased site investigation, if contamination is found to be present at a site, a detailed site specific remediation strategy will be formulated.

Albury SI staff have a wide experience in tailoring an appropriate remediation strategy, either in the form of a variety of in-situ techniques or more traditional excavation and replacement of contaminated soils.

We work with a range of specialist remediation contractors who have a range of in-situ and ex-situ techniques at their disposal. The process is followed through to completion, at which point a detailed Validation Report will be issued.

The report is designed with the aim of achieving final approval from the relevant regulatory bodies including the Local Authority, Environment Agency and NHBC, as appropriate. We will liaise with said authorities on the client's behalf and in many instances, can rely upon long-standing good working relationships to reach an amicable conclusion.
